Future Leaders Summer Program

For high school students to develop problem-solving and diplomacy skills in global affairs.

We are excited to bring to your attention an extraordinary opportunity for high-achieving high school students — the Future Leaders Summer Program organized by the 21st Century India Center in partnership with the Global Leadership Institute and the center.  

Program at a Glance

This three-week summer program brings together students from across the country and around the world to the beautiful UC San Diego campus. 

This unique program will help students develop problem-solving and diplomacy skills in global affairs. Through immersive role-playing teams and a digital simulation platform, they will confront urgent global challenges in four areas: climate crisis, energy innovation, artificial intelligence and internet governance. 

The program will specifically focus on the interconnected roles of India, China, the U.S., and other countries in the region. 

Center faculty affiliates have provided inputs on the program’s India-related content to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the country and its most critical global relationships.
